Life Teen Mass Retruns to Community Center

Beginning on September 6th, the Life Teen mass has returned to the Holy Rosary Community Center. This decision comes after much prayer, discernment and consultation about how the bilingual liturgy was doing at meeting the goals for a vibrant liturgy that draws the faithful into full, conscious and active participation in the Mass. We want to thank everyone that helped in the effort of a bilingual mass and I think that we learned a lot about how we will go forward in the future at continuing to build a greater sense of community amongst all members of this parish. I also want to extend a warm invitation to all who would like to come and see what the Life Teen mass is all about! Thank you to all of you for your continued prayers and support for Youth Ministry here at Holy Rosary Parish.

VICTORY!!!

The First Annual Youth Ministry Bowl was held on November 29th and Holy Rosary Life Teen came back with a W! We had a great time burning off some Thanksgiving calories and playing a great game of football with the Youth Group from St. Peter's in Dixon. Walk for Life West Coast 2009

Please join us for the 5th Annual Walk for Life West Coast. Last year there were more than 25,000 people to stand up and witness to the beauty of life... this year lets add to it! Get your permission slip from Miles to join us on the bus to San Francisco to join in this amazing event with great speakers, awesome people and a chance to speak for those who have no voice! Inspiration Tour 2008

We had an amazing time at Life Teen's Inspiration Tour 2008... despite a few setbacks along the way (ie a flat tire and a cranky bus driver)! But what an amazing experience being with 4000 other young people to celebrate mass, ride roller coasters, adore Jesus in the Eucharist and do some Praise and Worship with Matt Maher (not to mention Todd's liturgical dance "ode the Viper") Check out some pictures of the trip:
